Terms and Conditions
- BABY COLLEGE® provides an enriching programme for children up to the age of 42 months whilst offering parents helpful information about their developing infant/toddler. Parents/carers are expected to support that aim and must be in attendance throughout each BABY COLLEGE® class.
- BABY COLLEGE® requests 6 week’s notice if you wish to withdraw your child from the term of classes. If less than 6 weeks’ notice is given we reserve the right not to offer a refund of fees.
- BABY COLLEGE® reserves the right to cancel your child’s place at the class teacher’s discretion. In such circumstances, a full refund will be given for cancelled classes.
- Please do advise your class teacher if your child will be absent from any class. There are no refunds for temporary absence from classes. If you know you’re not going to be able to attend any classes, please make a request to attend other classes during term to make up for classes you are unable to attend (subject to availability).
- Classes begin and end promptly to allow everyone involved to plan their personal routines. Children and their parent/carer should aim to arrive in the venue at least fifteen minutes before the class is due to start. Late-comers are often stressed and a distraction to others.
- Each child must be accompanied in the class by either a parent or nominated carer. Details of any parent/carer who will/may be attending classes with your child must be provided in advance. BABY COLLEGE® cannot offer care for participating children.
- Classes have strictly limited numbers. BABY COLLEGE® reserves the right to offer an alternative class when the chosen class is full or to put your details on a waiting list.
- In the event of any complaints, BABY COLLEGE® aims to settle any problems directly with the attending child’s parent/carer. The maximum amount of BABY COLLEGE’s liability will not exceed the class fee except in the case of death or personal injury due to negligence on the part of BABY COLLEGE®. Attending parents/carers are fully responsible for the safety of the child when carrying out activities in class. Teachers are there to demonstrate and provide guidance only and attendees, must ensure they have understood the activity before carrying it out. It is recommended to sit out any activity that you feel the child or yourself are not able to perform safely.
- Children should not attend classes if they are ill and in particular if they are suffering from any illness which could be passed on to other children or their parents/carers. You should advise your class teacher if your child has developed an illness having attended any BABY COLLEGE® class. Some parents/carers are pregnant and need to be able to make informed decisions about attending classes (such as in the case of German measles).
- BABY COLLEGE® classes provide quality time for a parent or carer and one child under the age of three. No other children may attend the classes or spectate without the explicit permission of Baby College. There is no provision for childcare at BABY COLLEGE®.
- BABY COLLEGE® will retain your details on a confidential database for BABY COLLEGE® administration and in-house mailings. Please refer to our separate Privacy Policy.
- Dad attendance – Strictly days advertised for dads to attend.
- Special classes (6/term) will be shared and once reserved cannot be changed.
- Each term is 12 weeks long and all attendance should take place in this time. Classes unattended will not be carried forward.
- 3-class trial can only be taken once per child. The trial should be taken in three consecutive weeks and attended by the same child each week. A term time space is only guaranteed for the child when booking a termly package.
- If you have received a Class to Gift as part of your package you will be able to share this with a friend or relative that is a new customer of Baby College. Any age group baby college caters to will be available to them. There will not be any guarantee that they will be able to attend the same class as your child.
- Each package is assigned to one child and cannot be shared with another child.
- The time, dates and location you select will be final until the following term and you should ensure that you can make that class throughout term.
- If you or the child has any medical requirement or injury that may require informed directives during class it is your responsibility to inform the class teacher of them at the time of booking.
- Your child may need to move class mid-term if graduating from current class.
- Lessons are for female parents/carers only unless stated otherwise.
- Parents with twins or more than one child should contact us with details of their children’s age to see if both children can attend in the same class and, if so, whether an additional adult is required for support.
- Bookings are confirmed once we receive a bank transfer for the total value of classes bought. Proof of transfer should be forwarded to our company WhatsApp account +96891188258.
